The original quotation for replacing my freestanding bath was approximately £400. By the end of the work I had paid almost £800.
During the installation it became apparent that the chosen waste arrangement would not fit because of the pipe angle. The quote covered a straightforward bath replacement. I explained that the materials you supplied were incompatible. I fitted a safe temporary waste and later returned to assess the Amazon replacement, which was also unsuitable. After I explained the risks, you asked me to continue, and you agreed to the additional visit and labour charges. The bath was tested and left functional. The toilet was a separate, pre-existing issue and was not included in the work instruction. I do not accept that your negative review fairly reflects the work undertaken or our discussions.
