    Broken multi point door lock

    Avoid. Immediate callback from a coordinator who quoted fixed fee £89 + up to £320(?) for complete replacement. Had 2 no shows then switched to different locksmith the next day who was 30 mins late to 2 hr window. He explained what he had to do but no mention of additional/itemised cost beyond lock itself. Drilled door and couldn’t resit the handle to cover it so can now see the hole on the inside. Gave me an invoice just over £1000, including emergency call out, charge for drilling, mechanism, lock and additional £50 for adjusting hinge (which took 2 mins). Had to settle for a 15% discount.

    Quick, efficient service

    It wasn't an urgent job but a locksmith was able to come round within a couple of hours of my job request and complete the work to install a lock within minutes, giving me options of what type of lock to install.
