  Leaky pipes in bathroom

  Martin was great. He was able to assess the problem quickly and managed to return a few days later to provide a fix.

  New bathroom

  Was asked to pay half up front Day before work started which made me feel uneasy, no itemised bill as requested. Extra £500 added for floor but not discussed or agreed before hand. Poor finish on work, had to come back three times to rectify, still question part of the finish. The boss should have come to see the work and sign off, this never happened and was asked for payment when in my opinion it wasn’t finished. Very poor communication, had someone wait in for 2-3 days for them not to turn up or arrive late with no contact or leave early say they were coming back and not.

  Oh dear another customer that hasn't said a word in about 8 months. Its about 8 months since we invoiced this job so longer since we completed it. I haven't had any phone calls or emails about anything. It was agreed to pay 50% deposit for materials etc before we start. We do this on every job. There had been a few extras and the floor being one of them. No complaints at the time. This is labour, materials and the tiles. I considered it cheap. I did go to the job many times. How would they know if they are at work? Have no idea about arriving late or going early. We are not on day work and sometimes you cant get on or you need to get materials.

  Fitted new bathroom and fully tiled the bathroom as well

  Garry worked very hard, was very tidy, at the end of each day he took one of into the bathroom and showed us what he had done, also told us what he would do the next day. He cleaned up everyday when he was finished. He covered our carpenter with plastic. He wiped his shoes every time he entered our house.

  Repair to toilet cistern

  I have previously submitted a very positive review for the work done by this firm. I was very pleased with the quick response and standard of work. However, in October 2017 I received an invoice for £81.60. I thought this was strange as my husband had paid £100 cash on completion of the work. It is my belief that we have been overcharged for the following reasons: £100 is a very round number, no invoice for £100 has ever been produced. Though a small amount, it’s the dishonesty and principle that has been so disappointing.

  I am sorry that I have not been able to resolve this for the customer as yet, due to illness within the business and family we have been behind with responding to customer requests. We are in contact with the customer to refund the outstanding amount and hopeful that this will be resolved.
