  Super reliable and very attentive to details

  I needed to replace a block of concrete that fell from the roof of a rented property and whilst Clive came to inspect it, a few other jobs came up: replacing the gutters at the garage, fixing a couple of parts of the soffits which were rotten. Clive did a great job and kept me informed all the time with text and photos. Highly recommended all round builder 😀👍

  Chimney breast removal

  We hired Clive to remove a chimney breast and we were very happy with his work. He was clearly very knowledgeable and skilled. It was a messy job, but he kept everything tidy, and the end result was exactly what we expected. There was a slight delay in the job starting as he needed more time to finish the last one, but he kept me informed and we were in no rush so it wasn't a big deal. The cost of the work was reasonable. I would recommend him to others and will be asking him to quote for future jobs.

  General works

  Clive came back because I had problems with my macerators, so he had to install new ones; in addition, it seems that I didn’t have any lintel above my front door, & little-by-little the mortar was falling off the wall. Clive fixed & replaced everything for me, so now you would never know that there were any problems. The work for the lintel looks so beautiful, & most of all, it’s now safe, so another big thank you. I won’t use anybody else, & I’m finally getting a good job done. Goodbye to rogue builders!!

  Study refurb

  We asked Clive to refurbish our study (converted garage) which involved installing a new flat roof, stripping walls back and re-plastering, fixing light fittings, and various other bits and pieces. He did a great job, always took the time to explain to me what he was doing and why, and check I was OK with the plan and the results. We appreciated that he stayed until the job was done rather than try to do multiple jobs in parallel. He was also able to add extra items with no fuss.

  Phase 1 & 2

  I’ve had phase 1 completed by Clive, which is not just a lean to, but completely covers my yard, it’ll be great in summer months & protects during the winter. It looks great & solid. Clive is now completing phase 2, refurb of bedroom. He has not only insulated it, but reduced the noise elements to & from the room. Clive has been extremely involved in every decision made; not only making sure that everything will work & look great, but also fixing all the bad work undertaken by incompetent builders. Thanks Clive for all your hard work & giving us a safe & beautiful home

  Complete refurb of bedroom & a new lean to

  I've finally found a caring & competent builder, & will soon have a nice warm cosy place for my son's grandmother to live in. I've given Clive 10 out of 10 ratings, if it were possible I'd give him more. Clive isn't scared of work, & no job is too big (does not cut corners). He's extremely thorough with everything he undertakes, so I don't have to worry as his work is fantastic. He's the most capable person I've ever known, & I will only use him in the future. I would like to say a big thank you to both Clive & his son Reece for everything
