  Thorough, Reliable, and Exceptional Craftsmanship – Highly Recommended

  This will be a long review, but I encourage you to read through to the end—it covers the full experience of our building project. If you're after the short version: we’re absolutely delighted with the work Richard and his team James, Clive, Tony & Darrell at Copperwheat Conversions delivered. So much so, we've recommended him to neighbours who are equally thrilled with his work. We set out to build a two-storey rear extension and contacted six local firms, some recommended through Facebook or seen working nearby. Of the three that turned up, one stayed for just 10 minutes, gave us a rough verb

  Double storey extension

  Richard and his team have created our dream home. They’ve been onsite every day, the work carried out has been first class and all the guys have been very professional. We were recommended to Copperwheat Conversions by friends that also had work carried out and will also recommend them. Thank you Richard and team.

  Ground floor wrap around extension. Wet room, driveway, garden patio

  Richard and his team are fantastic, they have provided us an extension which has turned an old house into a family home. They team are friendly, approachable and honest with their work. The work has been carried out to a high standard and has exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Copperwheat Conversions to anyone looking to undertake building work.

  Wall removal and kitchen prep

  Sadly, we didn't have much luck with these guys. Leaks, electric work that needed correcting, timing problems and rude communication when issues needed to be resolved added up to an overall bad experience. Getting them to complete sections of work to a reasonable standard was a chore. We might have been unlucky, sandwiched between other jobs, but unfortunately we can't recommend them.

  Dear Customer, We are very sorry that on this occasion you are not happy with the services provided. On behalf of the whole team I would like to extend our apologise to you. We work tirelessly to provide the best workmanship and customer experience possible. I feel this is reflected in the seventy-seven positive customer reviews we have received over the past five years. The three changes to the structural plans that you provided held up our works for four weeks. However, we didn’t charge for the extra works involved instead providing this as good will gesture. Building control have issued a certificate passing our works and you also have an electrical certificate. If any of these points had been bought up while I was onsite, I can assure you they would have been dealt with immediately. I would also note you left this review the day our electrician kindly came out during the Covid 19 lockdown to wire up your hob and cooker. Another good will gesture I paid for myself.   Fitted a new bathroom, shower and tiling.

  Richard and his team are true professionals, everything was done very well, they work in a very clean and tidy fashion and you never feel that anything is too much trouble. The workmanship is first class and I would highly recommend them as great local tradesman. They are always polite and courteous and respect you still have to live in your home.
