Company info
I first entered the gas industry in 2000 enrolling on a traditional gas apprenticeship under a large well known local business. I trained and worked on all aspects in the industry working my way up the ladder. After running gas contracts for large corporate businesses for over 10 years I decided that I wanted to use my experience to run my own business. I was fed up sat in and office and wanted to meet new people and build a good loyal customer base. Central heating design, installation, diagnosis and repair is my speciality however I can work on any domestic gas appliance.
Adaptation is key in our industry and I am always training on newly launched products and keeping up with the times by investing in new methods and guiding customers to have the latest energy efficient products and smart heating systems.
I have been running my own business since 2012 and have been a Ltd company since 2017.

Excellent remedial work after being let down by someone else. Explained in understandable detail, the requirements and kept us informed throughout. Tidy and efficient, highly recommended.
Annual gas check
Dan is the most reliable and most competent engineer that I have come across for decades. He really brings the engineering skills to a very specialist level. No matter how small or big is the job, he adopts a very competent and forward thinking approach to his work. You can tell that he has a broad range of skills and competencies in diagnosing problems and finding long lasting solutions. To add to his technical competence, he has a very kind and respectful way to establish a clear and transparent communication with his customers. I wish all engineers would appreciate how important this is!
Replacing several radiators, service on boiler and gas range cooker

Boiler Service
I Would throughly recommend Daniel he always does a 100% service I would not use any body else to do my sevice.
Our boiler was constantly giving the "F9" warning code and would not fire up.
Dan found two faults, he managed to get one spare part and fit it that day, he then serviced the boiler. The other spare part could not be obtained until the next day, but Dan managed to find time to fit it that day, so that we were not left without any heating over the weekend. Dan's service was the most thorough we have had in the 11 years we have had this boiler. Dan is polite, extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and keen to provide a service which is as reasonably priced as possible yet totally safe; without suggesting that there are more expensive alternatives. He was friendly and reliable.
Upgrade Central Heating System
Dan replaced a 40 year old boiler, hot water cylinder, and rerouted pipework etc, plus other bits and pieces to do with the central heating system, and brought it into the 21st century. He is a great problem solver, no challenge is too big. Has an eye for the bigger picture as well as for detail. He is trustworthy, professional, reliable and efficient. Very easy to talk to and gets the job done. My parents loved having him in the house, and were impressed with how he cleared up daily. He is very considerate towards his customers welfare. We can definitely recommend Daniel Reekie.
