Avoid this company at all costs!
We had a terrible experience from start to finish. They arrived late and understaffed. Because of their lack of preparation and professionalism, they couldn’t complete the move properly. Moved 1 day late, so charged us double, leaving us to also cover additional costs from our buyer. Several items were damaged & didn’t bring enough packing materials. We’ve since obtained a default judgment against them, but they’ve ignored all communication & have made no effort to pay what they owe. Overall, an extremely stressful and costly experience. Items Delivered back from Storage
In reply to the Review on 23rd Jan, the client was advised that due to being in the tail end of 'Storm Bert' in November 2024, we should postpone the delivery of items to the following day is there was torrential rain and strong winds. House move in Bishop’s Stortford
Mark and his team were first class. From the moment Mark confirmed that we didn’t need to book a particular date for completion, he would move us whenever we completed, his service took the stress out of the move. On the day the DMR team were so nice, exactly the kind of people you want around you on a stressful day. Really friendly and hardworking guys, nothing too much trouble. Special shout out to the team member who took all the wardrobes and beds apart and put them back together in the blink of an eye. Terrible service
Paid over £10,000 for a removals and storage service by DMR & Sons. Only to have items thrown into the back of a van, returned dirty, broken and some items lost altogether. We’ve had to replace items up to £1200 in value because of poor handling and storage. We were also told to pay for the return of our items up front otherwise items wouldn’t be delivered. Now I know why. Contacted them multiple times to ask they put it right for us. No reply, just taken the money and ran. Response from Owner: Unfortunately some items were water damaged due to the fact we were (against advice and option to reschedule) operating in the tail end of Storm Bert in November 2024. We tried to resolve via email on 20th Feb 2025 with no reply.

Once appointed you are GUARANTEED a moving service once you appoint us, taking away the stress of logistics... If you have moved before you’ll most certainly understand the importance of having a reliable company in place.
Mark Flood, the Company owner, and his team treat every customers goods like they are their own.
We have fun along the way given how tough the days work normally is and pretty much every customer says we take the ‘final stage of moving’ stress away on the run up to and including completion date.
We have our own Storage Facilities to accommodate clients that are in transition between properties whether it be for 2 days or 2 years. It’s not unheard of for customers moving on completion date, on a Friday for example to not actually get keys until the Monday… be sure to appoint a removals company that can accommodate all situations.
All telephone, email and social media enquires are handled directly by Mark and his wife Sinead, who personally contact our clients and visit every property where possible for a full home contents survey to provide a competitive and accurate quote.
We can provide you with additional services such as TV Wall Bracket installation, Picture, Photo and Mirror hanging service as well.
Mark will be the point of contact from day 1 and until your move is completed.
For clients moving into and new to the Bishops Stortford and surrounding areas, we will also provide you reliable and professional tradesman details so you have confidence in reputable and reliable service providers such as Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters and General Builders.
