10 Great service and communication

I called the Drain Detectives as we are having an extension and Thames Water want us to give them a plan of their own drains (!) We had tried to lift the manhole covers ourselves but couldn't, they were stuck fast. Nicky in the admin said this wouldn't be a problem for them, but I wasn't so sure. Darren arrived and he had them up in no time. He was a lovely guy, very efficient, knowledgeable and hard working. He carried out the sonar work, cleared the drains and when asked, explained his work. They provided a pre-purchase survey of the drains at my property to provide to a home buyer. They understood the requirement, turned up exactly when promised, with the right equipment and conducted themselves professionally and politely. The team in the office, notably Rory, were all very helpful and quick to reply to my emails. Requested a drain survey. Very prompt to carry out. Comprehensive written report with diagrams, cross sections and photographs. Clearly explained alongside full recommendations and costings. Follow up 'queries' were never a problem and were very quickly responded to. First class service. Had an engineer available who was actually based in Hampshire, and carried the required equipment (30ml powered drain snake). Dan arrived bang on time, explained what he was doing throughout, did an excellent job, and tested it thoroughly. He was also friendly and cheerful.
