Drain clearance
In February 2024 this company Inspected/cleared a drain previously clear of problems for at least 30yrs. I was advised stones needed clearing - done within call-out charge (£140) and a section of pipe required re-lining (£600). This was done and a review left. The drainage system now has the same symptoms as before (bubbling wash-basins when the shower is used WC that doesn’t drain). The water level has reached half-way up to the drain cover. The phone/voice messages/email is not being answered and I am desperate because nobody is getting back to me and we can’t use the WCVerified reviewerJob location: SO1610 Blocked Drains

Blocked sink
After two useless drain people we engaged DRAIN MAN.who were first rate. They had the right equipment and persevered with a stubborn blockage until a successful flow was achieved. They were pleasant to deal with and took time to test and retest until they succeeded. David NaylorVerified reviewerJob location: SO2210 Blocked Drains

Drain clearance
First class job (this was far from an easy drain clearance) and rapid response time, highly recommend their services. We had standing water nearly at the top of one internal inspection chamber (within the footprint of the house). Over 1.5 wheelbarrow of loose stones/builders material was extracted from drains! THey took the time to check other areas were ok and make sure the drain was in good order to work without further issue - big thanks Drain Man.Verified reviewerJob location: SO229 Blocked Drains

Install soak away make good remove rubble
Over all disappointing, unfinished leaving all excess waste materials grandson was asked to help remove bags of rubble to the front garden and they are still there now these should have been remove as in quote price increase part way through the job. Ground left all uneven piles of rubble around the area and paving slabs replaced unevenVerified reviewerJob location: SO51Response from Drain man
Firstly, I would like to say that I am sorry you was unhappy with certain aspects of the work carried out, Drainman pride ourselves on our workmanship and professionalism, which is why as a company we have a great reputation. Originally you were quoted for an exploratory excavation at your property to determine what work needed to be undertaken, upon inspection a new quotation was issued and accepted by yourself. At this point your trial excavation was discounted. We did discuss replacing the slabs but due to you “having the garden re laid in a few weeks” you said this would not be required. Rubble removal was not wanted, therefore not charged for. With regard to your adult grandson helping to take bagged rubble to the front of the property, he was asked to leave this but insisted on helping. The new soak-away and drain lines that I was employed to do were carried out without any issues.
