  The work was arranged and carried out very promptly. I will not be able to confirm the repair until there is a bout of stormy weather but I was shown the problem and the solution and I am very happy with what has been done.

• chimney pointing/ceiling plaster repair

  Water began to drip through an upstairs ceiling. I rang Sylvester who inspected the loft and roof. A scaffolding tower was put up and the problem was loose or missing pointing on the chimney, confirmed by video. This was repaired quickly and efficiently. After another heavy rainstorm, the repair prevented any further dampness below the roof. The part of the ceiling that was damaged by rainwater was sealed and re-plastered, and the room was left tidy. I was very satisfied by the way in which Sylvester managed the work with his team and would heartily recommend them.
