The bathroom ceiling plastering work was good by my standards.
However, a hole was discovered in the shower tray shortly after completion. The damage was consistent with pressure from a fixed point, and no other trades were on site.
Richie denied responsibility offering no resolution. I was rushed to pay the full £550 before I could inspect the work in person and did so based on a video of the ceiling.
On discovery I requested £229 towards a basic repair, which was outright refused. He claims he didn't do it and I have no definite proof, but overall, disappointing handling of the issue.
Response from Essex Plastering Service
After going back and fourth with this customer about his overcrowded property Showertray that I refused to take responsibility for as he had another tradesman in that area fitting a extractor fan !!I walked 1 of the 8 tenants around the job and there was no problem . The customer paid the money and a week later try to raise this issue !!!! I’m a professional plasterer who is way past making mistakes like that !! So sorry we don’t see eye to eye on this one . Thankyou for the opportunity
Kind regards Ritchie
