  Disappointing experience after hiring Richie Hopwood

  Richie did a good plastering work for me, and was friendly. However, after I paid the agreed £1,100, which included waste disposal, he failed to collect the building waste he left on my driveway as he promised. He did not respond to several calls and texts until I mentioned Checkatrade, then he said he was at hospital with a family member and he will contact me when the time is right. Despite giving him extra time (i.e. the weekend) for him, his family or friends to arrange collection, he did not respond or resolve it. I’m sad that this happened and now need to raise a Checkatrade claim.

  Dan reached out to me immediately he received my request for the work. He was very prompt and arranged to come as quickly as he could. He also did the work to a high standard and contacted me afterwards to check that all was in order. I will definitely use him again ans recommend him to others.
