  Quick, very quick, following the recent storm, we had water coming in. The assessed, quoted, had scaffolding up the next day, the roof was off, refelted, rebattoned and tiles back o in a day. Slight mishap, dropped some tiles through a ceiling. Overall, happy with job

  Small section of cement needing refilling on roof gable. Guys were polite, efficient and tidy. Done in under half hour. Phoned job through this afternoon and done by 4… thiroughly recommend them.

  Excel were chosen as they had high reviews on this site. We had damp patches on a bedroom chimney breast and were given the option to remove the chimney as a solution.Initially they were also communicative, however they scaffolded the wrong chimney and we had to pay extra money for additional scaffolding. After this point all monies were paid on demand in advance. When the works were completed we asked for the scaffolding to be kept to ensure works were successful but the roofers took it down immediately. We contacted them last week as original problem is still there and await their response.

• Fixing a leaking roof

  Excel did a fine job going mob handed and replacing my roof tiles and all the gubbins underneath in just 2 days. The workmanship seems as it should be but proof of the pudding will be after the autumn storms - but so far so good. The team behaved impeccably and the site was left very clean and tidy - always a good sign. I wasn’t anticipating a complete re-roofing but with costs of scaffolding etc. It seemed the best course. Excel’s prices seemed competitive. So I’m happy to recommend their performance and I’ve no reason to doubt that their workmanship will give any problems going forward.

• Full Roof Replacement

  Overall really pleased with the guys. This was originally a small repair job that upon further investigation required a full roof replacement from wear and tear. They quickly prioritised the job in hand and completed it within a week. Whilst the cost was significantly more than anticipated, compared to other quotes they were competitive, especially as work had already begun and I was between a rock and a hard place. It did take a few days after the works were completed to remove all rubbish etc but overall not a major issue in the end. Would definitely recommend
