Fencing, levelling and clearing out existing flower beds and laying down decorative stones
G D Services carried out this work to a very high standard. The work force were very hard working, conscientious and polite. Once the job was finished, they tidied up and left the site in good order. Knock down existing wall and extend the kitchen by double. Fit new units and appliances.
I wasn't going to write a review as I don't like to leave negative reviews. However, having had another tradesman in to correct problems he told me that it would benefit future prospective customers to read what had happened.I was told by the very charming Gary that my work would take approximately 18 weeks which would take me to the end of October/ early November. It was finally 'finished' in March of the following year.There are numerous problems and issues, as my husband was shouted at by Gary because we weren't satisfied ('picky' in Gary's words) I haven't called him back - isn't welcome.Verified reviewerJob location: BH153.5 Decking

Decking poor quality workmanship
The decking boards were replaced . New decking boards were splintered as decking screws went in too far and as a result damaged new boards. Screws were missing in boards and not aligned correctly. Joists and fence post were damaged as a result of tradesman hacking up boards. Now the decking is sinking as a result. In addition water is now pooling in the decking. As a result of this poor workmanship further decking repairs are now required and fence post and gravel board also damaged. He has sent me a quote of over 600 pounds for further repairs which were not required originally.Verified reviewerJob location: BH12Response from GD Services
The fault was rectified within 2days. The joists were rotten and needed replacement. If the decking is sinking it’s because it wasn’t built correctly in the first place some 10 plus years ago in my experience. All we were asked to do was replace the boards nothing we did could damage the joists they were already rotten I’m not responsible for rotten timber.

Fully landscaping garden
Absolutely amazing. All groundwork, removing decking, paving large patio area, removing old lawn and replacing, new sleepers, replacing and laying new drainage and installation of soak away and new water butt.
