  We needed a leaking flat roof repaired, and got 2 detailed and fair quotes for the work from Smiths. We chose to have the whole roof replaced and the job was done excellently over 2 very hot days in August. All aspects of the work were completed excellently, and the 2 workers tidied up very well. Absolutely no reservations in recommending the firm.

  It's hard to find good tradespeople who won't let you down and that you can trust to do a good job. The staff at G J Smith have been excellent from start to finish. I would recommend them without hesitation; we did have to wait our turn but it was worth the wait! A special mention for Alex who was so helpful and explained everything so clearly. We had a new roof and sun tunnel fitted; well done everyone!

  Thank you for sending two super teams to replace our second flat roof. They worked like a “well oiled machine” and have done a lovely job. We are pleased, too that Ross repaired the gutter and the flashing on the garage roof , which had come apart through the weight of the scaffolding, this morning. The new roof looks good and with the replaced wooden boards we are definitely waterproof for many years to come. • Replacing soil stack collar, tiles and membrane.

  We had a small leak coming in from the soil stack collar/roof area. Friendly staff visited the house to assess and then provide quote. Two guys come round to begin repair, got straight on with the job and cleared any mess/scrap as they went. Would definitely use again.
