    Gavin and co did a great job constructing the single-storey rear extension to our home. Polite and friendly at all times, and adaptable to the challenges that arose during the build. High-quality finish. Would readily hire again for future building jobs.

    Modest extension with knock-through

    Trying to find reliable builders, then comparing different quotations and estimates can be a daunting experience. With G M Bailey & Sons Ltd I got lucky! I used Checkatrade's find a tradesman feature and Gavin was one of the first handful to contact me. Gavin's no nonsense style, straight talking and sensible pricing won me over. I gave him the architect plans, we discussed some modifications and him and his team just got on with it. Great communication, hard working, pleasant to deal with and a great job done. True professionals. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

    We had a great experience with Gavin. He was quick to put right any issues or problems we faced. He was very respectful to both us and our neighbours. Costs were transparent and any changes were quickly communicated. Overall the quality of the build is amazing, a number of neighbours have commented on what a great job Gavin and the team did.

    Very professional side extension

    They had to remove an old extension and rebuild it. The quality was very high in all aspects. They did end up being 2-3 weeks behind, but all in all great quality and integrity. I couldn’t recommend them more! I’d certainly hire them again.

    Extension, renovation and Patio works

    Gavin and his team have done an amazing job with our project. The build quality is second to none. Gavin is professional, honest and trustworthy. A man of his word! Everything has been done to a very high standard. Gavin and his team liased with us throughout the whole build to ensure we were happy at every stage. We will be getting them back for further works.

    Roofing and Building work

    Re-laid flat roof to a high standard. Re-felted pitched roof which involved removing and replacing the roof tiles. Replaced fascia board on the side of the house. Knocked through wall between extension and internal room, inserted steel and provided plaster finish. Gavin and his roofing and building team were very pleasant to deal with and kept us up to date and informed throughout every step of each job.

    Garage refurbishment

    Gavin is a great guy and knows his trade. He and his team have done an excellent job re-roofing our garage and building two internal rooms, installing new doors and a window. The work is of very good quality and Gavin is able to be creative and offer good ideas and insight. Very punctual and clean delivery. Would very much recommend his services.

    All work finished as per the agreed GBC approved plans. They were willing to go over and above the strict letter of the plan when something extra was needed. The changes have been transformational to home living.

    Leveling paving slabs and trip hazard.

    Gavin and his son did an amazing job levelling off some paving slabs and raised edging by our Pre-school gate. They were friendly, tidy, efficient and were able to fit the work around the needs of the Pre-school. Thank you so much.
