My name is Greg Wright, I have over 32 years’ experience and my passion is producing the finest handmade furniture, designed specifically to your needs.

Mending a very tricky break in the leg of a delicate antique occasional table.
Because of the angle of the break, it was a difficult repair which is why I chose a specialist furniture restorer to carry out the work. I was very impressed with Greg. The table is (almost) as strong as before the break. He took great care and it is impossible to see the join. The work was done in the timescale agreed and I found Greg to be a very pleasant person to do business with. I would definitely recommend him.
French polishing my dinning room table
Greg was fantastic. He kept me in formed and sent me pictures of how he was getting on. He bought the table back when he said and the job he did was second to none. I would recommend him to anybody, and iam looking forward to use them in the future
He came and looked at an antique bureau for me the opening and closing mechanism was not working
He used a lot of silicone grease and he did manage to make the rolled top opening mechanism better. I was happy with his work, he arrived on time and he was very courteous. Would recommend
Making a bespoke oak mantle.
Greg was able to convert my description of what I wanted into a beautiful oak mantle that met the brief perfectly. Throughout the process he made sure I was happy with his suggestions, provided detailed specifications before commencing the work and even sent videos of progress. Greg clearly loves working with wood and is very skilled. I would highly recommend him.
To repair damage to table top
Greg said one of the scratches to the table was quite deep so maybe difficult to repair. He was able to do a brilliant job and you would not know it had been damaged. He sent me pictures of the progress he was making. I live in Herefordshire and it was well worth me taking the table to Greg in Surrey. I would definitely recommend him.
Repair two broken bentwood chairs and an antique caned chair.
Wonderful job. Chairs are now better than when we first had them. Great dealing with Greg.
