  Garage Door Servicing / Repair

  Posted 20 August

Exemplary standard of work & service

John Maccoll of Hawkins Adept did a great job servicing the garage door at my mother’s house a couple of years ago so I had no hesitation in calling him back for our own and again the job was carried out efficiently and effectively, the door now working perfectly and the lock functioning again. The only number you need for garage doors in this area.

  Garage door repair.

John arrived even a few minutes earlier than the arranged time, which was good, to carry out the repair to our up-and-over garage door. He was very friendly and extremely efficient in carrying out the work needed. He finished the work in good time, and made sure that everything done was satisfactory. I am extremely pleased, both with the work done, and with John of Hawkinsadept who carried out the work, and I can fully recommend him.

Easy to deal with and very professional

Knowing that a neighbour has been looked after by John Maccoll I requested a quote for electric garage door installation which I accepted and this took place within 14 days. Neat and tidy workman and very happy with work.

  Springing into Action

I first met John in 2012 when he fitted an electric motor to my up and over Henderson garage door and what an excellent job. Recently I had one spring out of 6 rusted away on the door so it was out of balance so I called John and explained and after sending a couple of pictures he found out you can’t get them anymore but what I thought was brilliant he said I have a idea which could work when most people would go can’t get them and that’s that. Anyway he turned up not only fixed but also serviced everything at a very reasonable price. I would thoroughly recommend John so why not have the best
