  • New Lawn & Stone Slab Path

    Excellent service, punctual and did a fantastic job in our garden. The garden has been very patchy for a few years, and I have been meaning to lay a slab path to our back gate. Oliver and crew were happy to remove, rotavate and replace the laws and put down the slabs for me, creating such a tidy and neat garden space. Very polite and friendly, even when battling through heavy rain to get the job done! Highly recommended, and I will be using them again in the future.

    Oli spent time with me & my husband discussing what we wanted to do with our garden and he came up with 3 designs which were all amazing but we settled on one. I was expecting the garden to look better than it did before, but it looks AMAZING, his vision, attention to detail, understanding of what I wanted, and what would work for someone who hasn't had to keep a plant alive for a long time was OUTSTANDING. He was a pleasure to have working in my home, and I cannot THANK HIM enough for giving me such a great addition to my home that I can enjoy for years to come.

  • New patio, paths ,steps and timber walls

    Oliver and Dave replaced the rotten timber retaining walls and steps with new oak sleepers and brick/slab steps. New patio laid outside my new extension and new paths around the extension. Fantastic job and very happy with result. Oliver dealt patiently with my requests for changes to the original plan and always came up with suggestions and solutions that worked well. This is the second time Oliver has done a revamp for me and I would definitely recommend him.

  • Replacement patio

    Having previously worked with Oliver to redesign back garden, this phase of work was to replace old patio, and extend in places. Oliver and Dave worked well on this, digging out the old base and replacing/extending new permeable patio. Installed drainage to deal with excess rainwater, and reused old slabs as hardcore. Work completed in time suggested, and good quality. Both arrived on site promptly, and worked through some difficult weather. Site was kept tidy Oliver also sourced and fitted new garden gates, which look very good.

Qualified garden designer who was trained at Merrist Wood Agriculture College in 1994 and has been in business in Surrey since.

Over 25 years’ experience of designing and building gardens in and around Surrey whilst Hippo Designs has been in business for the 20 years.

Garden Design:

- Initial Consultation to Discuss the Brief for Potential Garden Layout, Planting and Features.

- Submission of Three Preliminary Sketches Detailing Different Ways in Which the Brief can be Executed.

- Second Consultation Meeting on site Where Initial Plans are Tailored into The Main Working Plan.

- Final Design Submitted and Costing Quotation Provided.

- Planning Plans as Required.
