JPJ ELECTRICALS a ‘Part P Approved’ Cheltenham based electrical contractor covering the whole of the Cotswolds. JPJ ELECTRICALS is a family firm headed by John Jeffreys.
The company carries out a wide variety of electrical work including domestic, commercial and industrial. Most of our jobs come through “word of mouth” - we operate to a consistent high standard.
John is qualified to all the relevant standards, including 17th Edition. He was initially trained to a high level by the armed forces and has gained his considerable experience in the domestic and commercial electrical market over the past ten years.

Make safe a dangerous live wire and install an outdoor socket.
John was really helpful in advising me over the phone on how to get electricity back to majority of the house following an issue with the fuses, caused by a dangerous old disassembled outside socket with a trailing live wire and the rain following the recent hot weather. Electrician, Liam, who attended to make safe the wire and install the outdoor socket was a very pleasant man, arrived on time, undertook the work quickly and efficiently and did a good job. Really fantastic experience and service all the way through and would definitely call on their services again.
Fuse box replaced and new hob circuit installed
Really pleased with the work John and Liam completed today. Fast, efficient and tidy job completed as per quote. Thanks v much.
Replacing sockets, switches and fitting two lights to ceiling
Absolutely brilliant service, Liam was punctual,extremely courteous, conscientious and a credit to the Company. He worked diligently until the work was complete, not stopping for a break. I would not hesitate to recommend this company as Mr Jeffreys arranged to come out within 48 hours of my phone call, after I had been let down by another contractor.
Lounge rewire
Once again I used John at JPJ electricals. I have used JPJ before to sort out a mess left by a prior electrician and was very happy with their work then. I didn’t hesitate to use again. They we’re, tidy, didn’t ruin my floorboards getting them up, polite and considerate when in my home. Really happy with the result. Gorgeous antique gold sockets, including USB in my lounge, wall lights put up in my lounge and my bedroom. I also had a fabulous bright light put in my attic. I know it’s only lights and sockets but I’m really chuffed and had to write the 5 * review Well done
Replaced our old storage radiators with modern electric radiators, and also replaced our sockets
John did such an amazing job in both recommending the best electric radiators for our flat and taking down our old storage heaters without causing much damage to the walls at all. Very neat job and really efficient. Would recommend and shall definitely use again for any other electrical work which we'll need doing in the future.
