  Lights tripping fuse box

  Was the only person to respond to my job advert. Tried to help over the phone by talking me through how to find out what was tripping the fuse, also helped by finding out problem with fridge freezer. Very polite and helpful would call him again. Just a shame he had to travel from York, but I am glad he did.

  Dental Surgery wiring

  Kevin as been doing the wiring at the practice for the past few years now, all the wiring for a new X-ray unit ,security lighting and emergency lighting plus a new fire alarm system. Kevin is always willing to work around us, to cause as less disruption as possible working weekends and evenings for us when necessary. I find Kevin easy to talk too and deal with, if I have to leave a message he usually gets back to me within the hour and comes as soon as possible when required . Quotes are usually with me within a couple of days, having someone reliable like Kevin is brilliant .

  Fitting a replacement outdoor security light

  Despite it being pitch black and bitterly cold Kevin turned up and did an excellent job in installing the new security light. Will use again and highly recommended.

  Waste of time

  Came to view some of the work need doing; no follow up - contacted for quote but nothing. Poor communication from his wife. He was a nice bloke though but communication is key to any business.

  We contacted the customer within2 days and it got sent to our drafts by mistake as we were having issues with our emails to which we realised and informed the customer He then said he would withdraw this feedback as we didn’t realise he hadn’t received this and it was only 2 days after we realised We do communicate well with our customers so think this is a very harsh and unfair review It was only 2 days If the customer had emailed us rather than print this review we would have noticed the email hadn’t been sent to him and was still sitting in our drafts But for it only being 2 days I think we respond a lot quicker than a lot of people

  Fitting some outside lights and a new dining room light

  I contacted KD Wiring Solutions for a quote for some new outdoor wall lights and for a new light to be installed in my dining room. Kevin turned up exactly when he said he would to quote for the job. I booked him almost immediately and he has done a fantastic job. So good In fact we have asked him for a quote for CCTV too. He is very friendly and works tirelessly to get the job done. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs any sort of electrical work done. Thank you again Kevin :)

  Check faulty RCD and repair

  Brilliant service. Had a response within minutes of looking on the checkatrade website for a contractor, Kevin turned up next morning and cheerfully diagnosed the problem. I’d screwed through a cable causing the RCD to trip, no word of criticism or mickey taking from Kevin, even though I felt a complete idiot! Cable partly replaced and job finished within 1.5 hours. Thank you Kevin and KD for your very quick response to the enquiry and carrying out the job so we promptly the next morning. Would definitely recommend KD for electrical work.
