  Fixing a new cooker hood

  The job was carried out very efficiently and promptly. The old hood had to be taken off the wall before the new one could be fitted and this was completed very tidily - it wasn't an easy job. The electrician was very professional and friendly. Hood works perfectly. I am very happy with the standard of work carried out - Lemlec always do a fabulous job!

  Removal of storage heaters Installation of new heaters and rewiring of distribution board and fuse box

  The work was more involved and took longer than the engineers had thought it might take but they stayed to finish the job on the day (hours longer) and completed the work required for the agreed price. I was very impressed with their methodical and thorough work which was very complicated. The finished work was of a very high quality and I would thoroughly recommend this company.

  Est on maybe supply fit fan/light

  I'm beside myself I'm so upset I didn't ask him to do anything I was miss led and feel conned they saw opportunity to get some money I could of done the job of taking out the amp. But I wasn't going to use it anyway nobody would if it's dangerous. What this means now if you want an estimate is for them to look and not touch as soon as that happens they charge very wrong this payment is my living allowance for the week. Great sorry I'm so disappointed and distressed over this. Just for estimate £42 then don't say you do free estimates. Due to disability I find it difficult to understand at times.

  The customer called our office and booked an engineer to attend to ascertain whether a fan & light unit was dangerous. She believed it was but wanted it checked for peace of mind. It was very quickly apparent that the unit was dangerous as smoke started issuing from it. In order to safely isolate the fan we removed a fuse & also disconnected the fan/light from the installation. It was explained to the customer that we would need to quote a replacement. Whilst there the customer asked us to look at some other lights that she would like a price to replace and make safe as these were also in a dangerous condition. Our standard call out fee includes the first half an hours labour and this visit was completed within that period of time. This is our minimum charge for a call out and was explained to the customer at the time when she booked in. The customer signed the engineers worksheet to say that she agreed the work had been completed to her satisfaction. Our estimate was sent out free of charge as advertised.

  More sockets in my lounge and bed rooms

  Very good, what they were doing was explained to me very well, they were polite and cleaned up well they even washed up the tea mugs that I had given them through out the day. Their costs were very resonable compared to other costs I had be given.

  Fitted new ceiling lights

  The guys that came along were very good. The job wasn't easy as they needed to use a scaffolding tower to get to the light fitting and also re-wire the lamps. I would totally recommend Lemlec to anyone - very professional from start to finish !
