  Misleading website and high review mark

  My intention here is to warn people before they engage this company. If you have a simple blocked drain or drainage issues, then this company might be the one for you. Most of their positive reviews are vague and regarding very simple jobs and provide no insight into the quality of work they produce. Their website is well written and gives a false sense of quality, with accreditations that mean very little when you find yourself in a dispute over their extremely low standard of work and their unwillingness to reach a satisfactory conclusion.

  Blocked Drains

  Leak repair

  Complete nightmare . They were tasked with fixing a leak in the property next to mine, in the process of which they narrowed the communal pipes so much that my toilet and shower kept blocking. It took 18 months and thousands of pounds for them to find the fault (while they were gaslighting me into believing there was a separate issue with my own plumbing). Best of all, London Drainage eventually broke and had to replace my toilet (which was never the problem to begin with). They have yet to fix the actual fault - but I was just informed that they needed to reschedule that appointment too.

  Bathroom pipes slowly draining

  Placed trust in them and paid 2hrs upfront which they confirmed that I will be refunded if they do not spend the full 2 hours on site. They came in for 20mins and weren't able to do the job because they couldn't remove the bath panel. I was happy for them to come back to use the remaining 1hr and a half but was told I was charged the whole hour and I need to pay another hour upfront. They should have made it clear that the 1st hour is unrefundable if they are charging upfront. Their response was misleading hence couldn't trust them any longer.

  Put camera down toilet to find out issue of backflow

  Terrible after-sales service, once they have your money, they don't care.

  Attempted to clear slow flowing kitchen drain

  After an hour the engineers said they had improved flow but needed a team to cut tree roots growing in shared manhole in front garden to access it and finish job. They would send a quote. I found no improvement in flow but now fat etc coming up so unable to use machine at all! 6 days later still no quote received. Contacted a second drainage firm and also a water company. Work was completed without needing to cut the tree roof. Feel this has been a substandard job by LDF.

  Public toilets unblocked

  Fantastic response time, as we are a public house and we needed the work done within trading hours the engineers were very professional and discreet and all H/S regulations were adhered to. The area was left completely clean and tidy leaving it possible to reopen the toilets immediately.
