Disastrous flat renovation experience, avoid at all costs for peace of mind, money and quality
Avoid Tradeupgrade Ltd. (Matt and Lili, now South Kensington) at all costs. What was promised as a 6-8 week flat renovation has dragged beyond 4 months and remains incomplete while they're on vacation. Despite paying for full project management, I had to coordinate everything myself. Issues included endless delays, poor communication, unauthorised design changes, and substandard work. When problems occurred, like a flooded bedroom from improperly fitted radiators, they blamed me! Poor service and late cancellation
Quite provided and time limited to accept. Did so and paid a deposit as requested. In person visit arranged 4 weeks before job due to start and couple of days later, job cancelled. 9 weeks after deposit paid and no attempt to rebook or source alternative labour.
