• Insulation of the floor between the garage (below) and bedroom (above)

  I was looking to improve the insulation between a cold garage and the bedroom above and received several quotes, all offering different solutions. I chose Mick's solution as it was technically the best and represented good value. The work was completed to a programme that suited both of us, to a high quality and to the agreed price. All team members were punctual and courteous throughout. I am very pleased with the final product. I would not hesitate to contact Mick again when I need more work done to the house.

• Ensuite renovation

  The ensuite renovation was not straight forward as the room needed some structural work, including a raised floor and a new vaulted ceiling. Mick, oversaw the creation of the new roof and ensured it met building requirements. Mick and his team paid real attention to detail during the installation of the new bathroom and everyone on site was very courteous and considerate throughout the refurbishment. A pleasure to work with. We are very pleased and proud of the new ensuite. Would highly recommend.

• Bathroom renovation

  Mick and his team did a great job in redesigning the layout and renovating a very tired 20 year old bathroom. The plumbing needed some careful rearranging and the tiler had to be creative with the size of the floor tiles! We were consulted throughout, making sure the design was what we had in mind. We are very pleased with the end result.

• Living room refurbishment

  MJB Renovations carried out a full living room refurbishment ready for decoration. Works included electrics, making good chimney breast, fireplace recess and vent, fixing floor, plastering of ceilings and walls, and all new skirtings and door hanging. Work was carried out to an excellent standard. Mick and his team were great, hardworking, with clear communication throughout. Will be using again for future works to hallway and landing.
