Painting 3 sets of garage doors and back porch.
Matt is fabulous. Would never use anyone else. He's very busy, great people are, so had to wait, but so worth it. So professional, fantastic job, great guy, completely trustworthy. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you again.

Hall stairs and landing decoration including stair spindles
Arrived promptly and kept to time and days advised . Extremely tidy and left The house immaculate throughout . Thorough prep work which has meant fantastic result would highly recommend and will have Matt back again

Wallpapering a wall
Matt was really good at communicating with us and managed to fit us in quite quickly as it was a small job. He worked very tidily and we are very pleased with the quality of his work. As it was an expensive paper we wanted it hung professionally and are glad we chose Matt.

Decorating large kitchen
Fantastic job completed by MJL decorating. Kitchen looks like new again. The kitchen had a few issues with a bad repair and some water damage. But now all looks perfect. Matt left the place clean and tidy each day. Will definitely use again.

Paint the walls, ceiling and woodwork of our Bungalow

Not only were you extremely proffesional and efficient keeping the bungalow clean and tidy so that we could still live in it whilst you carried out the very extensive work, but your freindliness and willingness to accomodate changes was very much appreciated. Hello and welcome to MJL Decorating Services.

I have 36 years’ experience in the decorating trade, having served a 4-year apprenticeship, gaining City & Guilds qualification in both craft and craft advanced Painting & Decorating and sign work.

Decorating is a passion of mine and gives me a great sense of pride and satisfaction. I have a wide range of experience in every aspects of the trade, and a good knowledge of all trade products, which is key in today's marketplace.

I pride myself on a very high finish, but the service I provide is also very important to me, keeping my clients updated and informed is of paramount importance. I keep the workplace clean and tidy and my hoover is a very important part of my toolbox.

I believe preparation is the art of all decoration work and use both Mirka & Festool professional sanding machines attached to the Mirka dust extraction sanding unit as much as possible to keep the dust to a bare minim but with excellent preparation results.

Not only have tools changed for the better, materials and paints have changed considerably, I now use a wide range of materials and have been using Benjamin Moore and Tikirula paints for the majority of my work, as I feel these products have a better , longer lasting and a beautiful finish to the eye

Hand painted kitchens and furniture are of particular interest to me, I really enjoy getting a huge amount of job satisfaction from hand painted kitchens & furniture, and highly enjoy the high level of preparation and needed to get the high level finish within these jobs. Almost any kitchen can be painted , so if your kitchen is functional , but you feel it’s looking dated or tired, please do contact us, it will save you thousands of Pounds as its far cheaper to paint your existing kitchen than replacing it .
