We are a family run business based in the Guildford area and offer a number of different solutions to a range of clients. Established since 1983, we have built an excellent reputation for providing high quality services in and around Farnham. We are winners of 'thebestoffarnham' trade awards for the last two years running (2015 and 2016 with no awards taking place in 2017).Here at Moran Roofing Specialists Limited, we cover all aspects of roofing in and around Farnham and pride ourselves on being one of the most favoured roofing service providers across Surrey and Hampshire.
We specialise in all types of domestic & heritage roofing other than Thatched & Zinc. We cover all Roofline solutions (fascia & soffits etc), flat roofs, lead works, cleaning, re-roofs & overhauls, all chimney works including rebuilds, cladding, loft works, insulation/condensation solutions, carpentry, surveys and small building projects.
It is our long term reputation that allows us to win contracts on local Schools, Churches, vicarages and other unique and historic properties run by The Diocesan board of Education, Guildford Borough Council and a number of property management companies.We are Guildford Borough Councils preferred high end roofers, having carried out many works across their more important listed buildings, like the museum, The Guild Hall and the castle itself! We are proud to work for Guildford Borough Council to maintain the roofs of the ancient barns at Wanborough. The barns were first constructed in 1388 and would have been used for storing crops and harvesting.
We are also proud of our re-roof and lead work on Polesden Lacy in Dorking.
We have also worked closely with building surveyors and Architects where prestige buildings are concerned.

We are also part of a new NFRC RoofCERT roofing accreditation scheme currently being rolled out across the country. The UK’s only scheme for accredited roofing skills. This is a brand new government backed scheme for individual roofers who want to prove their technical knowledge, essential skills and competence to employers and clients who want the confidence that every roofer they use does the job right. The programme aims to establish an accreditation standard, which is supported and recognised by consumers and the construction supply chain.
All of our staff are fully trained in many areas of roofing, holding diplomas and other certifications, which are available on request. At Moran Roofing, we pride ourselves on our safe, clean and efficient working practices and hold a £10million liability insurance for your peace of mind.
For those hard to reach areas, we have two mobile elevated working platforms which minimise roof damage caused by ladders and scaffolding. This also means our clients benefit by not having to incur additional platform rental fees from third parties.
We are fully trained in Latchway systems which allow us to Abseil to hard to reach areas when the system is in place.
We can also provide you with aerial inspections using our remote controlled drone to see all aspects of the project up close. For added peace of mind, we are holders of the CAA PfCO accreditation we are authorised by the UK-CAA to undertake Commercial Operations, for which we carry comprehensive insurance, including public liability cover.
