  This was a big job - one wall coming down, one wall going up and turning a concrete mess into a liveable space. Ben and their team was professional, timely and adapted to the circumstances of the job well - suggesting and making changes as problems in prior work from previous contractors arose. In the end the result exceeded expectations. Courteous and professional from the outset, from first measuring up to cleaning up at the end, dealing with other work going on at the same time and causing minimal disruption as they worked, I would heartily recommend them and will likely use them again.

  Ben and his team were brilliant from my first enquiry to project completion. The administration side of things was a drawn out process and I felt supported through it all. Work was completed efficiently despite the hitches that inevitably crop up with a building project. The finished product is of a fantastic quality with no snagging work required on completion and a super tidy work area at all times! I don’t hesitate to recommend Ben!

• Putting right the wrongs

  Ben Neal was recommended to us by our surveyor following points raised on our survey. What was supposed to be a simple fix turned into a complete rebuild of a flat roof extension. Ben has been an absolute pleasure to work with. His subcontractors have also been great. Ben has supported us through a difficult time, constantly giving advice & working to an exceptional standard. Despite this job pushing Ben’s other jobs back, he was always there with a smile & worked tirelessly to get the job done going above and beyond to ensure the job was completed to code. Cannot recommend him enough.

  Ben did a fantastic job taking down a load bearing wall in our home. He was courteous and professional from the first time we met, which was a whole 6 months before the work! During this time, he happily answered questions we had all the way until the day of the works. He took care of small things we asked for as well, like re-fitting a door that no longer opened after the work. His price was reasonable, and he trusted us as customers to be honest, which was greatly appreciated. He was knowledgeable about specific things like thermal bridging, and paid great attention to detail.

  I got in touch with Neal construction to discuss some of the building work which a homemoving survey recommended to be carried out after moving to a new home. Ben knows his stuff when it comes to building. He is very knowledgeable and courteous, with good, prompt communication. He was always happy to answer questions and explain what is being done and why, and is well connected in the industry if other trades are required (eg scaffolding, roofers). He undertook the works to a very high standard, left things neat and tidy, and turned up when he said he would.
