Michael Norman told us the works would take three weeks. THREE months later and still not completed. Excuses after Excuses. Worst still are his working practices. Slate tiles and yellow batons everywhere. Due to all the debris, gutters and drains were full which lead to a severe flooding of our home. Initially Michael offered us 5k, to dry out our walls and redecorate (he said he would repaint the walls). Plus much needed replacement of lifted new floor and replace saturated new sofa. He also provided a dehumidifier because! he has no Public Liability Insurance. Has not been back to complete!

Works were initially delayed due to illness - we were told our roof works were a three week job! This ran into a three months and still incomplete with so many issue's and excuses. Excuses includes Scaffolding not do Various birthdays Various illnesses Nans new window Grandfather's death No money for materials (we paid 17k up front) And so forth Then due to all the mess and debris left on the roof, in the gutters, and down the drains our apartment got seriously flooded. Initially Michael offerd us 5k compensation as he did not want to go through insurance as he had lapsed in his payments.

Michael fitted new roof on my house. He is really professional and great to deal with. He has managed to finish the work earlier than the agreed completion date despite terrible weather in between. The Quote provided is competitive. Yes he asked for a small deposit (approx 30% of full quote) before the work started but based on my experience all transactions were fully transparent and no hidden charges or surprises. The communications were prompt I am happy with the quality of work and tidied up once he finished. Would totally recommend him for your next roofing job.

Rapid response to my enquiry with also rapid site inspection and quotation. Helpful, useful discussion of the specifications and limits. Reasonably accurate estimate of start date and job duration. Reasonable price and clear job description. Work appears to be competently carried out and exactly as agreed. Overall a very impressive service. Helpful, friendly, proactive and very professional.
