Shocking
After reading other experiences with Phil Edward’s work. I must be extremely unlucky. He was a nice man. But he never prepared my walls properly for painting. He never sanded adequately so paint is now lifting with any slight rub or knock. When quoting the house was fully furnished (cluttered )making it not clear the state of some walls, Turning up day one to find the customer had ripped out the dado rails and the plaster as well and removing afire place , they had badly filled the walls themselves also blocking in a fire place with inadequate wood panel and expecting to have paper hung over this, the paint suppliers was a very cheap brand diy, I asked everything ok and she said yes i’d done all the bits she asked and then she asked for my bank details and paid , only for this reply

Good workmanship.
Out Hallway and Landing needed decorating. My friend recommended Phil having done some recent work at his house. Phil came and gave a quote that we found satisfactory. We agreed on a mutual date and the work started on time. Timescales given where accurate. He gave us help choosing colours. The work was very well carried out. Good quality workmanship.
