Joinery work to structure of loft conversion and new bespoke staircase and Fire doors
Started well we agreed a daily rate until the loft was strip to its shell and inspected by building control. I asked for an invoice and paid it immediately. I then asked for the quotes as agreed. I got a quote for the staircase. Paul then said he could not give me a quote as agreed and wanted to stick to the daily rate. I spent money on materials etc for the next stages. Paul is not willing to continue saying I will not pay him. He claims that I have refused to pay another builder known to him. Let down badly by this company
My mum wanted new kitchen worktops and he said he could do it. Went to Howdens on his advise, chose worktops and let him know which ones. Said he would ring next day with price for job. But he didnt ring. Left him countless messages and tried ringing him. He finally answered phone and said he was at work and would ring when he got home, but he didnt. This prospective customer was calling on behalf of her mum that had agreed a different worktop style with me previously. She did not ring me half a dozen times, she ring me twice whilst I was with another customer and was unable to take the call at that time. So messaged me to say she would leave a bad review because I hadn’t called her. I messaged her back to explain that I was extremely busy and with another client at the time of her call, and so apologised for not being able to answer at the time of her call
