There were some issues with communication and the job was not completed to a professional standard. There were places left uncleaned: shower and bath drains, upper shelves and light fittings. They did not have a step ladder or anything to reach those areas.
After complaining about the issue they told me that they had sent an email telling me that they needed to charge more to finish the job but I didn’t get any email neither was informed about the issue when they left the property. Then, they offered to go back to finish cleaning but I had already returned the keys so was not possible

However as explained to you on the day, we would cover the most important parts to ensure your deposit was returned as you had a very large amount of animal fur all over the property that had been there for a long time and took 2 hours to clean alone.
This could be a charge to you as the next tenants could have allergies.
The staff only carry steps rather than a 5 foot ladder, this would need to be provided should you have very high areas.
The dust on the lights and shelves were omissions and no animal fur was found.
Your deposit was returned.
