  Replace a ceiling in the kitchen.

  Richard was very punctual. He got on with job quickly and efficiently. The finished ceiling is an excellent job. He was very tidy when working and we were able to use the kitchen during the evening before he finished the next day. Highly recommended.

  Outside render

  So disappointed with our job its slap dash and a mess. No pride in workmanship whatsoever. Promised to return and put right and wont answer phone or return calls. Also took 3 days to clean up the mess after ,render everywhere, down windows slabs drive.

  The customer was constantly disrespecting myself and another plasterer, who was helping on this occasion. When the job was completed, we walked around the property, and they clearly stated we’re happy with the work. This was done in front of witnesses. After this they paid me. They attempted to pay me in cash, a lot of the notes were of foreign currency, this is where the disagreement began. I will not return to the customers after a volley of verbal abuse, from the lady. The job was completed to the highest standards as are all my work. We also helped her out and done another job for her at her stables, this separate job was never paid for. Why would they pay if unhappy with the work? I’m afraid they are creating a problem just for the sake of it. In 37 years in the trade, I have not had a complaint as the other references show, I’m a quality tradesman.

  Lime plastering

  After previously being let down by another company Richard and his team got our project back on track to a high standard and quickly. They turned up when they said they would, were punctual and didn't waste time. We are looking forward to having them back to complete our home.

  Re plastering if the downstairs of the house, to include an old 11 m sandstone wall

  Cannot recommend Richard enough. He has done a brilliant job. This was always going to be a hard job, the walls are not straight and the ceilings are not level. Lots of people came to quote but Richard was the only one to say yes we can do this, this is how long it will take and this is how much it will cost. Just from the way he appraised the walls, ceilings etc I knew he was the man for the job. Prompt, efficient and tidy, a pleasure to deal with. Thank you we are so pleased with your work.

  Plastering the walls and ceiling of our stairway

  We’ve had difficulty finding a plasterer who would come out and quote, let alone do the work, so I was bit weary when I found Richard on Checkatrade, and messaged for a quote. However within 10 days of contacting him, our hallway and stairwell has been plastered. I can’t recommend him enough - Richard and his 2 co-workers have done a beautiful job. They were friendly and courteous throughout and respectful of our home. I would 100% use them again if we needed more plastering.
