  Mixed experience - poor communication and not checking work

  Mixed experience with S1 pest control. It was a difficult job removing squirrels from the eaves of our house. The initial work was carried out well and we were told the work was guaranteed for a year. We had to contact S1 a few weeks after the work was completed as the squirrels were trying to nest in the same spot. However, despite saying they would come and check the work, S1 have stopped returning our messages and haven't come to check.

  Hi Katharine, we’re sorry you were disappointed with the communication. We explained that, due to the height of the roof, a return inspection requires two technicians for safety reasons and we were unfortunately short-staffed at the time. The proofing was completed using heavy-duty industrial mesh, and seeing squirrels on a roof does not necessarily mean they have regained entry. After your review, we contacted you and offered to inspect the work, but this was declined. Our offer remains open and, if our guaranteed proofing has failed, we will of course rectify it.   Had a wasp nest in the brickwork of my flat for which Theo contacted within minutes of my job submission to discuss the work required. Theo even called me later to say he could visit a day earlier than agreed which was fantastic news to hear. As for the job, Theo was very professional, he observed the affected brickwork to attain an entry/exit hole for the nest and then applied a powder based compound to the area. Again, Theo was very professional and knowledgeable of the situation and course of action required, and on top of that a very nice person, so I highly recommend S1 Pest Control.

  Expertise in handling Rats problem

  Our company has been managing multiple properties , we called S1 pest control to handle rats situation. They were very professional from day one. They had clear plan to handle the issue. They coordinate appointments with the tenants and had to do extra visit, that assured tenant and us that rats issue has been completely resolved.
