10 Structural Engineer - Structural Calculations

Great diagrams!
Safi and Naseem provided diagrams and specifications for removing load bearing walls and replacing multiple window lintels. The diagrams and calculations were of high quality which was accepted by building control. Naseem was in constant communication with my builders to ensure the works went smoothly so we get our building control certificate and helped made amendments to drawings as plans changed. Structural Drawings and Calculations
I contacted Sandstone Engineering for help with structural drawings and calculations, as we plan to remove the chimney breasts and some internal walls in our house. Safi was extremely helpful and came back quickly with the drawings and calculations. Overall really pleased with the report and he was always happy to answer any questions. Structural Drawings and Calculations
Naseem / Sandstone Engineering more than exceeded our expectations. We needed structural engineering services for a new full house renovation project. We have been very impressed from the outset. Excellent Structural and Construction Services from Start to Finish
I recently contacted Safi from Sandstone Engineering for assistance with the removal of three chimney breasts and subsequently hired him to manage the construction work as well. From our first conversation, it was clear that Safi is passionate about his work. With 5 years of experience in residential and commercial development across London, I have built up a wealth of knowledge regarding existing structures constructed across a span of different eras, be it Georgian, Victorian, or Edwardian.
Every building has a different story to tell, with unique characteristics which must be tailored to when looking to renovate and redevelop in-line with modern design standards. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all solution and ensure to consider the needs of the historic structure along with the new design.
Safi Al-Koud – MEng (hons), GMICE
I’m a fully qualified civil/structural engineer that have been working in the residential market for +4 years. I have gained most of my experience from working with an international multi-disciplinary consultancy firm on projects for the likes of Network Rail, TfL and different London Councils.
I have successfully led multiple projects from RIBA stage 1 (feasibility) to stage 5 (construction) using industry cutting-edge design techniques and software, utilising different construction materials such as timber, steel and reinforced concrete.
