  To repair rotted out flooring, door frame, and cabinetry.

  We highly recommend Steve for having taken on the huge job of replacing rotted out flooring, cabinetry, and a kitchen door frame. His work is superb. One cannot tell there was ever any damage. I was delighted that the final bill was entirely reasonable because the work he did was extensive.

  Steve came and prised up a job for us, regarding fixing a garden fence and replacing wooden parts of our garden shed that had gone rotten. Two weeks we had to wait before the agreed date he could come. So we wasted three weeks altogether waiting for him to come and do our agreed job/payment etc. The morning arrived and he did not turn up, neither did he leave a message to explain his non appearance. We have tried to contact him on several occasions but he will not answer any of the phone numbers listed for him. We feel really let down and would definitely not recommend him to anyone else!

  Laminate flooring fitted which fell apart after 3 months

  Steve fitted laminate flooring and didn’t prep the floor properly. He tried to bodge it and get away with but the flooring split in over half the room after 3 months. He has been ignoring my phone calls, emails and texts for 8 months. My next step is the small claims court. The current floor had been tested by a damp proof specialist and there is no damp in the house. I also paid Steve to fit Lino and this had split and it was fitted very badly. Steve subcontracted this out but he is still liable for the work as I paid him. He owes me £1034.74 refund but he won’t return my calls to discuss

  There is an ongoing issue with this that I’m trying to resolve. The floor under the laminate is defective. The are 2 halves in this room, one half of it is a concrete underfloor which is fine. It’s the other half which is defective. The kitchen floor is also lifting, this was subcontracted out and I have been in contact with them to resolve their end of the issue. I am away at the minute in France and won’t be back until next Sunday. I will resolve this when I return
