Sadly, for the first time in 20 odd years of using (often on repeated basis) Checkatrade contractors, I have to leave a negative review.
Shannon visited and we agreed, end April: 3 hrs work on a Wednesday, every other week, plus cost and the cutting per visit.
Then she immediately changed the day to Monday (okay, that could still work re bin collection day.) Next, they didn't have any electric hedge trimmers, a rake, ladder etc, so I had to make mine available. Then, repeated re-scheduling during the day they were due to attend. And no way 3 hrs work when they did. So many excuses. Gave up!

You were happy enough with our work and length of visit to invite us back four times, and we brought our own trimmers, rake and ladder each time (though we were happy to use yours alongside ours when offered). As explained about rescheduling our last visit, we’re very in demand and when working in the sun in a heatwave taking staff wellbeing seriously means a last-minute change is sometimes unavoidable. We made sure to offer you a new date 7 days from original. It’s been a pleasure working with you these past couple of months and we wish you all the best for the future.
