Good communication. Jack came round to quote quickly. We accepted quote. Friendly workman arrived on time. I showed him where the leak was. Checking later the cracked T section removed and he was spraying with a repair compound. I enquired why he was not replacing the part (£4 in Screwfix) and he said he would replace if I wanted. I said that there was no point in trying to repair it, particularly as a repair would not last as long as a new part. He agreed. He had to go and get the part.
