We initially contacted Joseph from Trident Damp Ltd for a damp and woodworm survey, as recommended by our RICS surveyor. From the very start, Joseph was professional and thorough, providing us with a detailed survey and a clear, well-explained proposal for the necessary remedial works. We were very impressed with his knowledge and approach, which gave us great confidence. On the day of the works, Joseph’s team arrived promptly and carried out the job to an exceptionally high standard. Reliable, courteous and friendly team who did cellar work, damp proofing, installed air vents and re-sealed and re-pointed door and windows where needed to prevent future water ingress. Joseph from Trident Damp arrived promptly and examined the areas causing concern thoroughly. His impartial advice - that there was certainly damp but no immediate action need be taken was much appreciated (and very welcome!). What a fantastic experience, I called Trident (Joseph) and explained my potential damp problem which had been indicated to me by another tradesperson. Joseph came to my house the next day to assess the issue, with my lack of knowledge and experience Joseph could have clearly told me I needed work to be carried out but instead confirmed my problem was with condensation from a downstairs bathroom and to focus on resolving this issue instead. Trident come highly recommended. Quick response to my enquiry, Joseph was round to do a survey, identified the issue and had a quote out to me within 24 hours of his visit. His team were friendly, ensured the floors were protected and the house was tidy upon completion. They also offered advise on when to repaint the fresh plaster. Super happy, use this company is you notice any damp patches, better to get it fixed properly before it becomes a bigger problem!
