  The whole experience was excellent. The original quotation was reasonable. A starting date was provided. Because a previous job was delayed the start to this work was delayed but I was asked for permission to accommodate this delay. They arrived on time. The work was done exactly to what was proposed and clearly done to a high standard. The subcontracting plasterer was also superb. Once the work was complete, the clean-up was also done to a high standard. Having employed many tradespeople over around 50 years, I think that this company was amongst the best.

  During the quoting and job scheduling stages, the communication from Nigel was great and he was always responsive and quick to get back to me. The team arrived when they said they would and quickly got on with the job. The surrounding area was kept clean and tidy at all times and all waste materials and debris were removed effectively at the end. All team members were courteous and friendly. Very happy with the service.

• To replace the sealant along the flat roof due to heavy rain yesterday.

  I can highly recommend T&S Roofing and Building Contractors, Solihull. I panicked when I saw rain water had been pouring down the inside walls of our passageway following heavy rain yesterday. I contacted Nigel last night who sent one of his team, Blue, around at lunchtime today. He inspected, replaced sealant and also painted some heavy fibreglass sealant along the adjacent brickwork to my neighbour's property where rain had seeped through also. Huge thanks to Nigel and Blue for sorting this out some promptly and professionally. Ros Wilson, Solihull

  Nigel and his workmates at T and S Roofing are one of the few tradesmen that I would class as simply wonderful! After many roofers coming over to quote on a new roof for our side passage and a fix for our mysteriously leaking utility roof; I was so relieved when Nigel came over…on time, impressive quote and knew what he was on about. Once we accepted the quote Nigel and friends came over exactly when they said they would, they worked hard and to an extremely high standard all day. They were very polite and helpful and struck me as very honest and reliable people.Thank you!Couldn’t rate higher!
