  Fixing a dripping tap

  Came to fix a leaking tap which was secure but dripping. He fixed the leaking side then the other side started leaking. I was then told I would have to pay the same amount again for him to fix the other side, which wasn’t leaking when he started. The whole tap came loose around 10 days later and he came to fix it. Same thing happened again and before he could get round to fix it, the whole tap came off and I couldn’t turn the water off. I had to call an emergency plumber who fixed it and commented on how poorly it had been installed. He refused to refund me for this terrible service.

  Remove old radiator, install new one in different location

  Rob removed an old radiator for us and installed a new one in a different spot. Really nice guy - courteous, honest, professional and did a great job. Will book him in again soon for another job! Cheers!

  Fix leaking shower

  Nice chap and was tidy. Good for smaller jobs at an hourly rate but would recommend getting a quote for slightly bigger jobs. I made the mistake of not getting an estimate of how long it would take to remove the shower screen, reseal around the base of the shower and refit existing shower screen. The job took 10 hours still at the hourly rate. Communication primarily via email was also frustrating particularly a last-minute cancellation email after the agreed start time.

Having looked back through our communication we can see that it was agreed by both parties that the job would be carried out based on our usual hourly rate rather than a quote for the whole job. Whilst we always strive to complete jobs in a timely and efficient manner, on this occasion it did take a little longer than initially expected; the original installation was not carried out by a trained professional which meant we had to do undo their mistakes, make good the leaks and damage that their work had caused and then complete the job to our usual high standard. These circumstances were beyond our control but we are pleased to hear you are happy with the end result and have had no issues since.   Fit and supply cloakroom sink

  Rob did an excellent job in my cloakroom, he removed and fitted a new cloakroom sink, was extremely clean and tidied up when he left, l would highly recommend him and his work
