  Wessex Damp and Timber were contacted cold by me following an internet search for reputable local companies. Emails comms were good and Mark swiftly arranged to come and look at the problem. He arrived as advertised and proved to be both personable and knowledgable. Unsure of the exact nature of the problem, he took samples for testing and advised us well, not trying any hard sell. These sample tests were conducted quickly and a course of action and booking quickly made available. Overall a very positive experience.

  Mark made a prompt appointment to assess the damp. Instead of quoting for unnecessary work, he advised me of a cost effective home remedy. I was super impressed with his integrity and expertise. I will definitely contact the company again if I need further work doing to my home.

  We recently had some remedial work done for rising damp in our property. Mark and his team did an excellent job. Mark was extremely helpful, gave good advice and was always quick to respond to my queries. The works were completed in the estimated time and we are delighted with the results which look neat and smooth. The site was also left very clean and tidy on completion. The job involved removing and reinstalling a radiator too which the team did without us having the extra expense of a plumber. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Wessex Damp and Timber.

  Lovely team of guys / did a professional job at a reasonable price . Kept to dates and price quoted and were very accommodating. So nice to deal with proper qualified professional who went above and beyond . A bit slow on getting the quote as Mark is very hands on and only does his written quotes on a Friday - but was able to start very quickly so don’t be put off if you have to wait a few days for the price. At least he isn’t like others who seemed to make up crazy prices just because our house was bigger than average .
