Came to carry out a boiler service. We’d had issues with it making a noise. They came out, did what they needed to do and left…20mins or so in all. Couple of weeks later the same noise came back. This company told us the pump needed replacing and with labour would cost £320. Cost isn’t the issue but coming out twice is twice the labour cost, should have just told us during the service, if it had been done properly.

When we attended in February, the system was serviced and operating normally at the time. The noise returned several weeks later and, after reviewing the video sent in April, we advised that the pump would require replacement.
Unfortunately, intermittent pump faults are not always identifiable during a standard service visit.
A quotation was provided on 21 April, which has not been accepted to date. We would still be happy to arrange the repair if required.
