Welcome to Lewis Byard Plastering & Damp-Proofing Specialist Ltd. We specialise in all aspects of plastering and damp-proofing, throughout Brighton, Hove and surrounding areas.
Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to look through my page and tell you a little about myself, team and company.
I am a highly motivated individual with a keen eye for detail. I set my standards very high and my main objective for any job is to exceed my customers expectations. Most of my work is domestic, therefore I know the importance of being a clean and tidy worker and keeping to a schedule. I also have an apprentice called Nicholas who is a very polite and courteous young man. We both have yearly CRB checks and have developed a solid client base through-out Sussex. We're friendly and honest and our prices are some of the most competitive that you will see.

Plastering round door frames.
Lewis recently plastered my kitchen, I then decided to remove the door architraves and damaged some of his excellent work. He came back no problem and no moaning! He made good the damage that I had caused and charged me a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

New plaster board ceiling in downstairs hallway and ground floor, stairs and first floor landing walls all reskimmed with plaster.
Very pleased with the high quality work from a very polite and communicative tradesman. We felt very at ease with Lewis and were happy to give him keys to come and go while we were at work. We added some extra jobs to the original quote which Lewis was happy to undertake at reasonable cost. Often too absorbed by his work to drink tea when you make him a cup!

Plastering ceiling bathroom.
I called up Lewis and needed some plastering done really short notice. He managed to fit me in a few days later which was very helpful. He did a great job, ceiling looked super smooth. He was very friendly, very tidy and was even able to fit in a bit more work we needed doing short notice and on a Saturday. Would definitely recommend Lewis for any plastering and will do to anyone I know that needs a good job doing!
