  Ceiling plastered

  I couldn’t be happier with my kitchen ceiling! Richie was punctual, professional, and worked with great care from start to finish. The finished result is perfect. He took great care to protect all the furniture, floors etc and left my home absolutely spotless. It was also lovely to see his son with him, learning the trade and gaining valuable experience. It’s wonderful to see those skills being passed down. Friendly, reliable, and highly skilled, Richie and his son did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional they can trust. Thank you!

  Disappointing experience after hiring Richie Hopwood

  Richie did a good plastering work for me, and was friendly. However, after I paid the agreed £1,100, which included waste disposal, he failed to collect the building waste he left on my driveway as he promised. He did not respond to several calls and texts until I mentioned Checkatrade, then he said he was at hospital with a family member and he will contact me when the time is right. Despite giving him extra time (i.e. the weekend) for him, his family or friends to arrange collection, he did not respond or resolve it. I’m sad that this happened and now need to raise a Checkatrade claim.
