  Spot on, couldn’t have improved anything. Guys even went to merchant on a Fri afternoon last thing and got material needed to finish the job to a good standard. Should be what everyone does, but rare to find someone who really cares about their work and the customer

  Leaking kitchen tap

  Old spray mixer tap, although only 3 yrs old, had failed completely. I sourced a new tap and needed it fitted urgently as our old one was leaking from several places. It was a relief to find help, increasingly hard these days, but I’d do all I can to avoid needing the emergency service aspect again. Basically doubled the price, even though we didn’t get someone the same day. I think they should make you aware sooner that Emergency Hero is basically a middle man, who will cost you more because they charge a finder fee effectively.

  New door, frames and repair to porch door

  Overall work we had done in first phase was positive. Some costs well above the quote but very pleased with workmanship. Second phase of work was blocking up old fireplace, installing shelves, new living room door and frame. This didn’t go as well as the first phase at all. Demy was too busy to complete work himself so sent colleagues. We had several follow up calls and even return visits as Demy promised issues would all be fixed. However even after all this it still left us with issues such as a damaged garden gate which was then brand new but not only half locks sadly.

  Leaking toilet, replaced quickly

  Happy with how quick they visited and replaced a leaking toilet. Couple of issues hence rating: Toilet installed not picked by us, lower than the one we had Took a 2nd visit (3rd overall) before loo fully secured to floor Scratches on what’s meant to be a brand new toilet - had it for over a month and not yet swapped as agreed Asked to pay in full before job complete Definitely had much worse experiences elsewhere, and hoped to have Daniel back for other much needed work, but so far not been able to reach him again

  Emergency Heating - Wkend Call Out

  So appreciated the quick and helpful response, early on a Saturday morning. Even arrived quicker than expected and didn’t take long to reset/re-pressure the boiler to sort the issue out.

  Fixing leaking bathroom sink taps

  Perfect service both on the phone and in my house. Arrived on time, friendly and clearly explained the issue and solution. Not the cheapest call out fee ever but I’m happy to pay for good quality work I can trust. They also sent a plumber out urgently the next morning as the leak was becoming bigger, so I was very relieved.
