Excellent service from start to finish.
Highly recommended. George was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He carried out a blower door test, smoke testing, and thermal imaging survey and provided a detailed report explaining the causes of our heat loss issues. Underfloor insulation
George was brilliant. We required the existing floor to be lifted and insulation installed. Throughout the process George was tidy, considerate and offered advice on how to achieve the best outcome. The team documented the process throughly with photos for my records. Definitely recommend!
Very professional, communicated clearly throughout the project, and paid close attention to detail. We were moving in the middle of the works, while also working from home, and George made sure to always work around us, prioritise things that would help us and keep things tidy in the house. G.A.S General Building Services Ltd specialises in diagnosing and solving building performance problems such as heat loss, condensation, damp, mould, draughts, and sound transmission issues in residential properties.
Using professional diagnostic tools, including thermal imaging inspection, blower door air leakage testing, humidity assessment, and building performance analysis, we identify insulation defects, hidden air leakage paths, cold bridges, and acoustic weak points within the building envelope.
Our work follows building performance and Passive House design principles to ensure effective and long-term solutions. Where improvement works are required, installations such as insulation upgrades, acoustic floor systems, or airtightness improvements can be verified with before-and-after testing.
With over 15 years’ experience working with high-performance insulation, acoustic upgrades, and building envelope systems, our goal is to improve comfort, reduce heat loss, minimise unwanted noise transfer, and resolve the root cause of building performance problems.
