2.5 Chimney Cowlings Repair

Chimney repair did not stop leak, just made it worse after multiple attempts.
We contacted MC&R to repair a leaking chimney. The first repair did not hold following the next heavy rain. After many calls, MC&R eventually returned, however the repair once again did not last the next heavy rains. MC&R eventually returned and attempted another repair, informing us this was a temporary fix to see if it addressed the issue, and that if it did not hold, another solution would be attempted. It held during light summer rains, however, as soon as heavy rains returned so too did the the leak. Lead flashing and rendering

Leak in chimney flashing
Contacted the company regarding the issue. They were very quick to respond, attended the property to inspect the damage and recommended the necessary work required. The quote provided was very competitive and included some additional work that would help us reduce condensation in the loft. The work was carried out very swiftly. Everyone was polite and respectful of the property. Unfortunately the first attempt to seal the chimney flashing didn't work, but we contacted the company and they were very understanding. Repair to guttering that had caused a leak in the heavy rain.

No show!
Everything started of well, arranging by email for a contractor to visit the property to look at a damp issue we thought might be caused by the chimney. A date/time was arranged and nobody turned up to the appointment. Two emails have been sent since and have had no response. Replacing lead surround to lantern light with GRP plus GRP valleys
