Terms:

  1. The Promoter: Vetted Limited, (trading as Checkatrade) a company incorporated in England & Wales (company number 04285394) with its registered office at Building 2000, Lakeside North Harbour, Western Road, Portsmouth, PO6 3EN (“Checkatrade”)

  2. If you meet the eligibility criteria set out below you will be entered into a prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a £500 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card (the “Prize Draw”).

  3. The Prize Draw is subject to these Terms and Conditions.

  4. You must meet the following eligibility criteria:

    1. You must have submitted a job within the new Checkatrade App;

    2. You must be aged 18 years and over;

    3. You must reside in the UK; and

    4. You must not be a current employee, family member, or agent of a current employee.

  5. Anyone who meets the above eligibility criteria will be entered into the Prize Draw.

  6. One entry per person.

  7. The entry period for the Prize Draw will end at midnight on 30/04/2024 (the “Closing Date”.

  8. There will be one winner selected at random from those that are eligible (“the Winner”). The Winner will be chosen on or shortly after the Closing Date and notified, via email to the email address registered to the job submitted within the new Checkatrade app, as soon as practical shortly thereafter. If the Winner fails to confirm acceptance of their prize within 3 working days of being notified, that Winner will forfeit their prize and Checkatrade reserves the right to select an alternative winner (and that winner will also have 3 working days to respond). The original winner will have no claim to the prize after the alternative winner is selected.

  9. The Winner will receive an Amazon.co.uk Gift Card to the value of £500 (the “Prize”). The Prize will be sent to their email address by Checkatrade within ten working days, from acceptance of the Prize.

  10. The Prize is also subject to Amazon.co.uk Gift Card terms and conditions, restrictions apply, see www.amazon.co.uk/gc-legal.

  11. Checkatrade reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value in the event that the prize described above cannot be provided. The Prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be given.

  12. Checkatrade’s decision will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

  13. Checkatrade will use any information which you provide or which we obtain from our dealings with you in accordance with our Privacy Notice and to administer the draw. Checkatrade’s Privacy Notice is available at https://www.checkatrade.com/privacy.

  14. Checkatrade must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. If you are a Winner, Checkatrade will provide your surname to anyone who emails marketing@checkatrade.com. If you object to this information being made available, please advise Checkatrade by email to marketing@checkatrade.com. In such circumstances, Checkatrade must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

  15. Checkatrade shall not be responsible or liable for any expenses incurred by any Winners over and above the prize offered above, and the draw winners participate at their own risk.

  16. Checkatrade reserves the right to change, alter or withdraw the prize draw at any time. If any of these terms and conditions are found to be void or unenforceable, that term shall be deemed to be deleted and the remaining terms and conditions shall continue in full force and effect.

  17. These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
