The short answer is yes…with the correct preparation and testing to ensure it doesn’t contain asbestos. There are certain things to consider:
1. How heavy a pattern is the Artex
2. Is it on a wall or ceiling
3. Has it been painted
If the Artex is heavy then a lot of plaster will be needed to smooth it out. This could affect the
1. Architrave
2. Skirting
3. Coving & Cornice
